Ireland in Ukraine


Note to applicants
Please prepare [non double-sided] photocopies of all required documents when submitting your application. If you do not supply a photocopy the original document will not be returned to you.

You are not entitled to work in Ireland, but you may conduct business, and you must intend to leave after a maximum of 90 days stay.
It is not possible to change your status while in Ireland.
If you are a visa-required national and going to Ireland for a business meeting you should present the following with your visa application:

  • 2 copies of applicant's signed summary of the on-line application form . Please apply the online visa application via this link:
  • 2 colour photo with white background , the expression should be neutral with no hair covering the eyes , mouth closed . Photo should be taken in the past six months. Photo size (minimum 35mm X 45 mm); ( maximum 38mm X 50 mm)
  • Passport and its copy (only the pages with stamps and visas)
  • An original letter of invitation from the conference hosts in Ireland which states the applicant's name, date of birth and passport number. This letter should detail the nature, duration and programme of the conference and state who will bear responsibility for the applicant's accommodation and maintenance costs while in Ireland. The letter should also include a contact name and details for the reference in Ireland
  • An original letter from the applicant's employer or company in Ukraine, which states the applicant's name, date of birth and passport number and also his or her position in the company. This letter should detail the nature and duration of the visit and also state who will bear responsibility of costs during the applicant's time in Ireland.
  • Hotel booking confirmation

Additional documents or information may be required by the visa officers.
